Abstract
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and utilities face a critical question: how confident are you in the cybersecurity posture of the suppliers supporting your OT, telecom, and cloud environments?
This KALEN™ webinar brings together the Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC), the International Society of Automation (ISA), the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), and a utility cybersecurity leader to unpack what recognized third-party certifications, including IEC 62443 and CSA's AICM, validate and how that visibility supports stronger supplier evaluation and risk-management decisions.
The session opens with a threat briefing on real-world incidents affecting critical infrastructure, explains what certification validates, and closes with a utility perspective on incorporating certification visibility into procurement conversations. Attendees will leave with a practical way to evaluate supplier cybersecurity maturity, organized through UTC's GRID Framework.
