About the instructor

Mitch Simcoe has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry starting with Bell Canada and later with Nortel in numerous roles in Marketing and Product Management in product groups including voice switching, broadband access and optical networking.

He formerly was at Ciena in the role of Director of Solution Marketing and was responsible for supporting Utilities to modernize and automate their networks.

Mitch is now part of Ribbon Communication’s IP Optical Marketing team supporting the utility and DCI verticals as well as driving the marketing of Ribbon’s Muse Multi-layer Automation Platform. He received a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA from McGill University in Montreal, Canada
